PARIS MOTOR SHOW 2014

The Paris Motor Show is always a special occasion. And 2014 is set to be more special than most, with the unveiling of the new XE, where Jaguar will announce detailed specifications for the first time. This will include the efficiency, infotainment and the world debut of a new all-surface progress control.

A true driver’s car, the rear wheel drive Jaguar XE redefines the concept of the sports saloon thanks to its advanced lightweight construction, streamlined styling, luxurious interior, and outstanding ride and handling.

"The new Jaguar XE is every bit a modern Jaguar; more compact in size but visually striking. Customers will expect a great deal from a mid-size Jaguar – it must be practical but premium.” This is how Director of Design describes Jaguar’s all-new XE sports saloon. “We never forget we are designing a Jaguar and that means it must be as exciting to look at and drive as it is brilliant to run and practical to own. We believe we've done just that with the Jaguar XE."

The Jaguar XE was officially revealed to the world on September 8th at Earls Court, London, which included live performances from Emeli Sandé and the Kaiser Chiefs. Multi-platinum, British singer songwriter Emeli Sandé even created an exclusive track as part of the new FEEL XE campaign.

In a continued celebration of British creativity and innovation, Jaguar has asked renowned designer Stella McCartney to help create a series of experiences that express the exhilaration at the heart of XE.

The next phase of the campaign will see a fleet of luxury Stella McCartney inspired Jaguars draped in her distinctive Superhero print from her Spring 2015 collection. These vehicles will be taking to the streets of Paris on Monday 29 September, ahead of Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week Show.

Following the FEEL XE Experience in Paris, Jaguar will announce details of its next FEEL XE project with British actor Idris Elba in the coming months.
